emmamac73, 18 April, 2011 at 18:19 Posted on Planning 0 3

Hi!

So....I have 5 make up artists on my "shortlist" aside from going for the cheapest?! how do I choose?!

Am I allowed to list them so you can help me pick or is that naughty?

What sort of things should I look for? All there photos look good....?!?

TIA!

Need to Bump this too. I had a bad time with my last make up lady she slapped it on so much that I could'nt smile for fear of my face cracking ?.

I'm also wondering if I should bit the bullet and go for the ones that cost £150 as each time I find a make up person it costs me between £25 - £45 per trial ?

I'd go with the person you like the most (taking it that their make-up skills are all the same!)

On your day you'll need to be surrounded by people who keep you calm. If you enjoy their company you've had a brilliant day from start to finsh.

    Hope that helps!

From your shortlist look at each of the artists portfolio's and see what makeup you like best. Also look to see if they have before and after pictures as these show what they can 'do'.

Also which one have you had the best feeling from. Taking into account how friendly they are, how professional etc.

I would list them so you can see if anyone can reccommend any of them too you.
