How do you pronounce Gyro?

    I say Giro but then everyone laughed at me and said it was ghee-ro. I then came back with well have any of you actually been to Greece (2 of them haven't even left the US) ? but i'm still not 100%.

    Yes, the delicious meaty treats from Greece are pronounced differently, with a soft i, like in the name Jim, and a soft o.

    And I have been to Greece. Lots.

    Its yee-ros or jee-ros or hee-ros depending on where in greece you are. but jee-ros is the most used.
