How long

jessica_jayne, 28 April, 2012 at 16:28 Posted on Off Topic Posts 0 10

Does it take you to get ready for a night out?

& what does the getting ready entail?

I'm currently laid on the bed looking through the posts on my phone, thinking of everything I need to do, and made me wonder about others..

Shower.. 15-20mins (extra 5 if it's razor day)

Drying hair & straightening 1 hour (redonc thick hair, takes forever)

Putting extensions in 10 min

Tan 5 min

Make up 10-15mins

outfit and extra's probs most of day deciding, chucking stuf on floor, moaning nothing looks right but only less than 5 mins to get dressed and out into the taxi.

How about you lovely lot xx

Em 5-10 minutes showering (although usually do this in the morning so doesn't come into going out getting ready time)

5 minutes straightening hair, 10-15 if curling.

    10 minutes make up.

    5 minutes dressing.

So absolute tops half an hour, but have been known to do it in 5-10! OH takes longer than me lol

If I'm in the mood for it, a good few hours (at least one of which will bath time). The other 90-120 mins can be split between hair, makeup and dressing, with breaks for wine and random stuff scattered through. I'm not even vain, or a raging expert at these things, I just like dawdling.

    Also, redonc?

Not that long really- if I know what I am wearing that is half the battle, I reckon I can do it in an hour.

I fail miserably at girly getting ready time. I think years of having a matter of minutes to make myself presentable because of kids has ruined me! I get really bored if I try to spend hours doing hair and make-up with my friends. Even for my third year uni Summer Ball, I was ready ages before everyone else and just sat drinking wine instead <hic>

A couple of hours. I faff around something chronic, always late. Even more so if me and my bestie are getting ready together!

    Redonkulous.

I always seem to take at least 20 minutes more than the time I have in which to get ready! ?

I always shower in the morning too, so this doesn't always factor into it. It usually takes me about 10 minutes to get ready for a night out, probably less. I don't wear much make up, if any, and my hair is easy to sort out. Just quickly straighten and done!
