How long are your jeans?

Knownowt, 18 June, 2008 at 15:02 Posted on Off Topic Posts 0 11

When you wear jeans, how much of your foot can you see (in heels and in flats)? Do your jeans touch the ground at the heel (again, in heels and in flats)?

Thanks and apologies for such a mind-numbing question.

Some of them are too long to wear flats with - they are just short of touching the floor in heels

Im only just 5'3" so in trainers the hem drags on the ground and in heels it is just off ground level.

Mine are touching the floor at the back in flats, and to the top of my high heel in heels. I don't seem to be able to get them any longer than that!

I wear skinny jeans with flats so they sit just bleow my ankle and you can see my foot. Bootleg jeans with heels and they practically skim the floor so you can just see the pointy bit of my shoe or boot.

If I'm wearing flats, then my jeans are about half an inch off the floor. If I wear heels, then I like my jeans to cover my foot completely so all you see is my toes (but without the jeans wrinkling up IYSWIM?)

Mine touch the floor but I only wear flats. I should imagine if I wore heels I would have to get jeans a little longer (do they come longer than 32?) as I can't stand having trousers that don't at least just hover above the floor.

Mine tend to drag along the floor - I end up cutting off the bottom when they start looking a bit scruffy as I can't be bothered to hem them properly.

Thanks everyone- I'm about to buy lots of new jeans but always find that I buy them too short- they look ok in the shop but leave me with ankle drafts once I get them home. It'll be useful to have an absolute yardstick for jean length ?

I also find they're always too big when I get home- I never allow enough for stretching.
