How long before the big day did u get your dress?

I got mine around 10 months before the wedding, i think it varies tbh. i wouldnt say too soon, but prob best to wait a little while for new season stock etc or even sales where you might be able to pick up that dream dress at a bargain price.

I really need to start looking for my dress, less than 10 months to go now ?

I found and bought mine about 15 months ahead of the actual wedding! I was worried I wouldn't find something and planned to space out my searches but accidentally found one I loved very quickly. I don't think there is a right or wrong time, as long as you love it - and have a contingency plan in case you change your mind later!

I only ordered my dress last month and I get married in June! My dress shop said it usually takes 5 months to come in so hopefully it will arrive at the dress shop in March. If it was me I'd be putting pressure on myself thinking "I need to be a similar shape/size in 18 months" or "what if I see something I prefer in that time", for me it would give me too much time to have dress wobbles HOWEVER that said if you see a dress that you love and you want it then there's nothing wrong with being organised and going for it.

I ordered my dress with 18months to go...went to try it on again on Saturday and love it just as much as I did when I chose it. Go for it...get looking!

I started looking 10 months before, and found my dress in the second shop. It's been ordered and should arrive in about 4 months. Can't wait to try it on again!

I ordered mine in September (i'm getting married in March) and they said it will take 3-4 months to come in so hopefully it will be in soon, i can't wait to try it on again ?

I got my dress in june '10 and i got wed earlier this month

I've just ordered my dress 20 months before TBD......I say if you want to look go for it and if you find one, book it!! It's all part of the fun

I got mine 15 months before the wedding. Didnt go looking for it, more stumbled upon it whilst out shopping with H2B and my 2 boys!

Had to do a 150 mile round trip the next day for my mum to see it, then bought it there and then!
