How long does it take to get an NVQ?

Level 3 - and what are they equivalent to? A Level substitute? HND substitute? I don't get it.

Ta in advance. I'm filling in job applications like billy-oh, trying to convince people they DON'T need someone with an NVQ, they need me, and I can get one later if they still want it.

I've been told that NVQ3 is A level standard. I've been allowed a year to do mine,

No, I had nothing above a CSE, did NVQ 2 last year and am doing 3 now. Although mine is health and social care rather than educational. There is a bit of written work but most is observations.
