how many crystals on a table

I know this is a daft question, but I really do have no idea!

My tables will be long rectangles, sitting 10-12 people a table.....

I just have no clue how many crystals I would need per table...does anyone have a clue how I work this out?

    Was thinking exactly the same thing (mind that's no help eh)..

    I've bought a few - but thinking of only scattering them on the mirror plates instead

    How many are there in a bag? I rembrer a tog on here saying that you don't want too many as it can mean when people put wine glasses down they fall over as they are uneven. Certainly something to think of!

    The one's I got were 6,000 in a bag - but they're quite small. I got 3 bags - should be enough for 10 tables eh..

    I agree that you wouldn't want too many as glasses might rock -

    I bought what I thought was a huge bag , 12000 crystals , but I have 10 large tables, and wonder if is too measly...

    coupled with reading a sale item on here that said something about bags of 2000 crystals, each for a table...

    2000 sounds way too many, especially as it would be a shame to have wine spillage, but I really don't have a Scooby if theres a rough measure I should use !
