It is Izzy's Christening in 3 weeks and we have about 80 people coming.
We had thought to just offer pink fizz rather than a selection of white/red wine, plus beers/cider and soft drinks.
How much do I need though?
Christening is at 12pm so back to our place by 1.30. On the basis it will be a Sunday, people won't have toooo much to drink, except for the ones that are staying ?, but I really can't decide. What do you think?
Fizz wise we figure 4 glasses per bottle, so if everyone has 2 glasses we will need 40 bottles, but buying in 12's obv we'll have 48 which leaves a little spare.
How much beer etc on top should we get? I had thought perhaps 36 tins of lager and 24 bottles of real "special beer", plus maybe 12 cider (there aren't that many who drink cider I don't think.)
Soft drinks wise, 10 cartons of decent OJ, and 12 bottles of lemonade and 12 of coke.
Does this sound about right?
Any thoughts much much much appreciated.
TIA
