Hi sorry but I might not be much help as I have bought silk flowers. I got my bouquet, 4 bm bouquets which have silver wire and diamontes, 3 double button holes and 4 single button holes

They look stunning and at a fraction of the cost(£70 in total) and I dont have the worry of flowers on the day either.

I will try to attach a pic.....................good luck getting them sorted for your big day!X

Mine are coming in at £190

Thats for 9 buttonholes including H2B's and Best man, my bouquet an elongated wrist corsage for my CBM 2 flower wands spray for top tier on cake (similar to corsage) rose buds to put between cupcakes and a top table arrangement - im not having flowers as centre pieces. x

Remember the price will also depend on the type of flowers you have chosen x

I'm not sure how much it'll help Shwayney as there seems to be so much variance in different parts of the country etc. Also it depends what flowers you're having - my table arrs varied from £20-40! My thoughts are that what you're asking for is going to come up pretty high. Mine is £445 - that's 9 table arrangements, a long and low, my bouquet, 2 corsages, groom's buttonhole, 5 ushers/bm/father buttonholes, and delivery/de-rig.

Funnily enough the bridal flowers came up more expensive than I thought, with the arrs lowers. My arrangements are £20 ea, my bouquet £85, corsages £15 ea, buttonholes £4 ea and grooms buttonhole £6.

Have you told her how much you're working to? My thought with mine is that as I'd told her what I'd budgeted for it she came in lower on the arrangements to try and get close to that.

No stupidly i just sat there talking about the flowers but never once talked about budget, silly me! now am thinking its gonna cost a ridiculous amount as we are getting married in a village and using the florist. also thinking that if is way out of our budget have left it far too late to book anyone else, also having dramas with my mum and for a laid back person am beginning to feel very frazzled!!

You might be surprised - and if it does come out high, why not ask her if you can swap some of the flowers to cheaper ones, it honestly does seem to make a big difference.

    Good luck! x

Off the top of my head, I think the flowers are costing me

    £6 per buttonhole

    £70 for my bouquet

    £25 for bridesmaids bouquet

    £10 per corsage

£40 per table arrangement (I wanted something 'wow' for those)

£80 for a pedestal with flowers on (but we're skipping this)

£60 per spray to decorate the summerhouse we're getting married in (undecided about whether to do this or not)

All in all, around £600 ?

OMG, I don't know how you lot are doing it at these prices!

I must have expensive taste, I think ours are about £900 , we are having quite a few David Austen roses and very tall and wide centrepieces - come to think of it actually now I remember, ? we decided not to have chair covers and instead put that money towards the flowers as I felt they were more important.......see there is some logic behind my madness! I can highly reccomend a HIB on here called Georgie from "bygeorge bespoke" she is absolutely fab!

For our quote we are getting:

    4 bouquets

    8 buttonholes

    8 table centres

    1 hall arrangement

    1 thank you bouquet

I'm not having any church flowers (lent) and all others will be artificial.

I can't justify that much money on something that will die (sorry if that sounds harsh x ) and I can keep/sell the artificial ones.

    Thanks!

I'm having the same dilemma with other things - Photography being one! Photos are really important to me but I can't justify £500 for a few hours, let alone £1,000 for a whole day, plus videographer! I don't want to risk not paying much and hating the finished product but then I also don't want to spend a fortune!!!

My flowers i'll be getting is very much down to my buget, i'm using an interflora florist so probably not the cheapest, but is the most convenient. i'm not sure on exactly sure what flowers i want so i'm leaving that up to the florist but the budget we've worked out together is

    brides = £50/60

    adult bridesmaid = £40

    child bridesmaid £25

    Corsage = £6.50

button hole = £2.50 if having carnations or £4.50 for other flowers such as rose

we had also said £20 per centre piece but already have some silk flowers for this now.

she did say that it can get expensive if you particular flowers etc and depends on if the ones you want are in season.
