You should get 6 glasses out of a bottle of Champagne, so three bottles should suffice (as long as you don't want top-ups).

We bought 2/3rds bottle of wine per guest for dinner, but we also provided anything else they wanted to order (which they did). Are you providing for the whole wedding day? If so, and assuming you have maybe 7 or 8 boys (and girls who drink pints!), will 30 pints of beer be enough? That's only four pints each. It depends how much you think people will drink, but I can get through a few bottles of wine in a day...

Wedding is at 1 pm so drinks after that and everyone staying so to last until they drop. We dont have a massive amount of big drinkers (my mum will prob have 1 glass of wine in the day so having sparkling elderflower as a soft drink) and a few will have small children to look after so cant see them going heavy but sure some will puch the boat out for a party.

having tea with afternnon tea obviously and pimms , soft drink opition

did nt know whether we could then serve the wine with the evening meal at 7:30pm

do you think that will work? or is it a bit harsh to say no wine till later.

there are 4 boys which will drink beer and prob only 2 more girls that might (so at least 5 pints each) thinking most will then have wine with dinner
