I'm 30 (31 3 weeks after the wedding)

OH will be 28 on the 22nd of April

Me and OH are both 26 and will both be 27 when we get married. We were born on the same day of the same year. I am a few hours younger though

Completely agree, i think most people that think we are too young think young = naieve but I know that we will have to work hard and this is the case at any age. I also think that having a child with someone is a bigger commitment as the father will always be in your life and people do this with a lot less consideration sometimes.

It was one of many digs that came from non other than my so called best friend..... who i actually think it might just be out of jealousy more than anything( she cant seem to have a bf for more than a week) so i try not to let her get to me . I suppose there always someone with a negative view about everything we just have to rise above it ?

Wow! A friend of mine has the exact same birthday as me but it's great that you get to share your birthday with your OH!

I am 28 and will be 29 when we get married. OH is 33 and will be 35 the day after we get married! We get to celebrate his birthday at our venue in the morning surrounded by friends and family.

We will have been together for 10 years.

Yep, I definitely think it was jealousy as for the past year she had been the centre of attention and then I started wedding planning properly and think she felt left out. I did just rise above it and like someone said having a child with someone is much more commitment than getting married. These days you can get divorced but you can't just abandon your child!! Nice to rant, but I feel bad now as she is family after all but it really did annoy me. Not that I let her know that anyway ?

We're both 38 as well

I knew a girl who got married at 19 and I thought "I could never get married that young" but that was only because when I think back to the guys I dated at that age I shudder with horror whereas she had obviously met Mr Right. Between the ages of 15 and 20 my friends and I dated some really awful guys and we laugh about it a lot these days, I just think it makes me appreciate my fiance more though.

I'm 37, he's 25, been together about 3 years and he proposed last year

I'm 30 (31 when I marry) OH is 37 on tuesday.

I was with someone from age 17-24 and we were engaged (that's how I ended up here!) and I obviously did think I'd marry him but it all went pear shaped. I'm glad the way things have turned out cos I've had a lot more life experiences and now when I do get married I know it's 100% what I want.

I'm 24 now getting married 3 weeks before my 25th birthday...OH is currently 33 will be 34 in June!

OH and I will have been together for 7 years in May.

He will be 28 and I will be 22 on our wedding day in September.

We also have a 4 year old daughter together.

Life experience doesn't just come with being older.. in fact I find my brother acts like he's 5 years younger than me when he's 5 years older. ?

I will be 21 when i get married and my OH will be 23, we have been together 3 years and our date is booked (14th June 2014) i have had lot's of different responses from family & friends but all that matters to me is i know he's ''The One''. Age is just a number and whether you are a young bride or an old bride (like my nan who got re-married at 67) its about making a commitment to the one you love and thats that ? if you and your OH are ready then thats all that matters !! x x x

47 and my OH is only 41 (although he gave wrong date of birth when he gave notice so his marriage authority says I'm 48 grrrr)

Im a 2014 bride and a young one too! i'm 21 and OH is 22...we will be 23 and 24 (maybe 25 depending on our date!!) we are the first of our friends to marry, we have been together over 5 years now but i like the fact that i know that i can do all my ideas first and i won't look like i'm copying anyone and they'll be no competition amongst friends...

nice to see some other young brides to be...i sometimes feel that my friends just don't 'get' it especially when it comes to cost of things!! e.g. can i be your bridesmaid...urm no! x

22 and the OH is 24

Classic! I've got that as well as lots of people I went to school with and no longer speak to expecting to be invited, like I could cater for everyone I've ever gone to school, college, uni or worked with!!!
