Lol I'm 24 and a wedding photographer .... even some brides i've photographed are younger than me

I am 24 now, and will be 26 when I get married. OH is 28 and will be 30 when we get married.

I am 23, will be 24 when i get married, OH will be 24 next week

We're both 29 now, there's only 3 weeks between our birthdays so OH will be 31 2 weeks before we get married, and I'll have my 31st birthday on honeymoon ?I always wanted to be married before I was 30 (don't know why!) but can't afford to do it next year, so we've arranged it so the wedding day falls whilst I'm still 30!

There is a few girls 19 and engaged. I got engaged when I was 19, only just got married and I am 22. I had a look at all the convos and it is shocking how much people care about a number. When people find out I am married they look at me like I am some sort of weirdo.....as well as that though sometimes I am asked for proof od id when I enter a club or wanna buy alcohol....so I do look younger I suppose. I dont understand why people freak out. You get married for love right? Dont people fall in love anymore or is there a rule saying you cant fall in love before a certain age? You find the right person and whenever that is you get married and work hard for it. If you are prepared to do whatever it takes for your marriage then you are certainly ready for it. And if it does fail in the end then at least you have tried your hardest. I cant imagine me and my husband ever being apart though. We have been through sooo much together, I was always gonna marry him!

I totally agree with this! People always tell me I'm too young to get married but I don't think I am at all! We've been together 3 and a half years, when you know you want to be with somebody then why wait! And also he is in the army based abroad so us getting married is so important to us, or we would have to live apart for longer. People should never judge by age, it's how you feel about each other that counts.

It is funny cause some people were saying to me (some of them simple colleagues who i found quiet rude by the way): give me reasons why you should get married. And i would turn around and say: well you give me reasons why I shouldnt. Not why you shouldnt or why you wouldnt....give me reasons for ME....Why shouldnt I? They wouldnt have anything to say most of the time....my mum said some weird things like what if I get divorced? And my response was: well if people decided not to get married just in case they get divorced then no one would ever get married in this life lol (my mum got married young for the wrong reasons and got divorced but instead of thinking that she failed because she didnt marry someone she loved, she is thinking she failed cause she married young). Also she started having an absession with babies like: you want to have babies soon and you are planning it thats why you are getting married bla bla bla (she got married because she was pregnant and didnt want people to think bad of her). So I said: we have been together long enough to have had babies....we dont necessarily need to get married to have babies what century do you live in? We want them and we will have them whenever we decide in the future but we are not getting married for that!
