We had another holiday booked (fligths were actually booked before the honeymoon!). So I spent my time researching where to go, find hotels, etc. Best thing ever to take your mind off post wedding blues ? (says the travel addict)

I think I am dreading this most of all.

I had really terrible post holiday blues when we came home from Oz last year, (I really hated the whole world!) and I just know that the blues I get this time are going to be so much worse - not only will my wedding and holiday all be over and done with, but we'll also have left behind 2 lots of our closest friends for GOK how long [:'(]

OH's mum keeps pushing for us to have a party when we get home to celebrate, and I know that it would be a good way of dealing with the blues and give me something else to look forward to (as well as giving me another chance to wear THE dress!?), but I simply haven't got the time (or money!)to organise it before we go and I have assignments due and exams a couple of weeks after we get back. Realistically, it's not going to happen unless I let OH's mum organise it, but we have VERY different views of things even as basic as suitable venues (her original idea was one of the (bad) local council estate's WM clubs, I'd prefer a hotel or somewhere a little less 'real' - I want somewhere I can wear my dress to without looking like a pleb!)

Perhaps I could get away with putting off planning a party until June/July/August time and then I might get the best of all worlds!?

Failing that, I shall just hang around on Hitched for another 7.5 years!?

I am genuinley terrified about this. When we came back from holiday [after we got engaged] I was depressed, ive always been the same ever since I was a little girl, i always prefer the lead up to an even that the event itself? We are never goin to buy a house and I dont even want kids so that rules that one out!

I'm a born organiser and am a little worried about how I'll feel when it's all over. I'm a teacher and getting married in the summer holidays. Am already dreading going back to school and 'normality' in September - although it will be really funny to be referred to as Mrs. H instead of Miss S all day every day at work!

Just going to need a new project to concentrate on I guess. It was going to be moving from our flat and into a house, but looking at the wedding debts we're mounting up, I don't think that'll be happening any time soon ?
