How to convince him ?

I'm from Poland. I came here to work about 3 years ago. He was my neighbour..and now we're getting married
...and it's a problem cause I would like to get married in my home town Wroclaw. He, and particularly his parents, want us to organize it in UK :/

How to convince them? I have big family and they can't all come here... what's more wedding in Poland would be cheaper, and it's important for us.

Maybe you could have your wedding in Poland and then a blessing in the UK on your return with a big party?

It's an idea... in general I think how to devide it . Maybe ceremony in UK and than party in Poland..

Two parties is the way forward! I'm having two (a beach wedding then a party back home). That way you can wear your dress twice! ?

Hi, I would suggest that you talk to him and be honest of your thoughts. Do not worry if he argues with your idea. I believe that if he truly loves you he will understand. Also, I would suggest that you also discuss of the expenses. I think you could get some points in convincing him with that. Just be yourself and be prepared.
