How to stop bloating?

Am going on holiday to Greece this week. Usually the combination of air travel and the heat makes my stomach bloat up, not a good look in a bikini. Can you suggest anything to combat this? I've tried various herbal water-retention and pro-biotic tabs over the years but nothing really works.
