It's Baigent - I'm tempted to go with By-jent but have my doubts! Any help would be appreciated (before I make a fool of myself ?)

    I would say 'bay-gent' but whether that's correct or not i have no idea.

    Michael Baigent who was one of the authors of Holy Blood, Holy Grail is always pronounced Bay-gent. (Not that I have an unhealthy Da Vinci Code obsession or anything!)
