Hubby to be finally getting excited!

Fcerrino, 4 May, 2011 at 22:04 Posted on Planning 0 3

Hey girls.

Only 3 weeks to go now... i'm being very hands on, full steam ahead getting all the final bits and bobs done. Still not panicing and mild excitement is steadily rising.

Hubby to be on the otherhand, having not participated much in the planning and reluctantly being dragged shopping etc seems to have finally realised whats happening this month, or as he would say 'THIS MONTH!!' which he keeps repeating regularly.

Then last night while I was trying to sleep, he was trying to have an in depth conversation about why I am even marrying him because i'm too good for him blah blah and do I really love him.

I found it quite endearing, its nice he's finally showing an interest! x

How are your hubby 2 be's coping???

With six months to go mine has been remarkably interested in it all. Not quite as interested and involved as I have been but that would be hard to match! But he has asked lots of questions and seemed to have taken an interest when I talk about the wedding plans. He did even thread a few beads on to some ribbon whilst I was making some of the invites this evening but then gave up saying his fingers were too big and said he'd "have another go tomorrow night!" He did the whole repeatedly "we're getting married" every 10 mins thing for about three days constantly two weeks ago, but has stopped that now. I've been leaving him little lists of people to call/book/do and he's slowly ploughing through it! x

Mine's more excited than me at the moment! Although, we don't get married for another 15 months so I can't get excited yet, I'll probably explode by then! I get over excited in October, knowing christmas is coming! ?

Anyhow, he said to me the other day that he thinks if people celebrate anniversaries after they're married, can we celebrate our minus one year anniversary? Bless him. If that means an extra present then fine by me! ?

Definitely celebrate the one year to go anniversary! I want to go out for a meal but we're working so we're going out 2 days before to see Adam Ant so will have a meal then too.

My OH isn't excited as it'sa long time till next May. But then he doesn't really outwardly "do" excited anyway (even at our 1st Grand Prix last year), which is certainly the polar opposite of me!

My Hubby to be is getting nervous now, especially watching the royal wedding and is starting to realise THINGS NEED TO BE DONE too, finally!

I've not mentioned the fact that he hasn't got his uniform tailored as it's his area to deal with, and so was relieved to hear this weekend that it should be started sometime next week. Phew!

I also know he is thinking of whether or not he'll be crying, as he doen't want to and i've told him the best plan is to prepare, imagine the moment and be ready for it before the big day.
