HUGE N&P for Eliza Claire Photography (Crantock)

Tracie 8/9/07, 16 November, 2008 at 23:25 Posted on Planning 0 9

Hi,

I dont normally post on WP but wanted to let you know how fantastic Crantock is.

As you may remember I recently posted about my sisters very low budget wedding and the fact she didnt have a photographer. I got some great advice and contacted local colleges etc.

About 2 weeks before the wedding I had an email from Crantock with a link to Eliza Claire Photography and a offer of help from Crantock. I forward the images to my sister who loved them and Crantock went above and beyond by not only offering an amazing service at a fab price, but also making the time to go and see the bride and groom to discuss what they wanted. All this with less than 2 weeks from booking to event.

The day arrived and Crantock arrived at the brides home and immediately it felt like she had been a friend of ours for ages. My sister hates having her photos taken but Liz made sure the shots she took were natural and Claire was so comfortable with her. Liz mucked in and ignored the extreme chaos at the flat, what with 3 under 3's, a stressed mother of the bride, 3 adult bridesmaids, well meaning best friend, emotional father, and numerous other people milling about.

My son loved her to bits and showed her his "bestest smile" that he had been practicing all morning. We soon forgot she was taking the pictures. Liz then hotfotted off to the venue and took some gorgeous pics of the groom and his men, before we all arrived. She covered the ceremony, took some lovely location shots as well.

The group shots were amazing, Claire and Marc were adament they didnt want the usual type of pics and the poses liz set up were stunning including some gorgeous candids of the couple alone and she even managed to fit in the parents and step parents without it seeming awkward. More candids followed through the meal and she was done, with no fuss, no intrustion and no problem

Less than 24 hours she had emailed me some shots to show the happy couple. Claire was in tears with disbelief at how stunning they were! Liz had even managed to hide the huge plaster on the brides arm (emergency casulty dash for stitches the night before!) The pictures were timeless, but modern and absolutely beautiful. The package offered was amazing and I know both the bride and groom were in tears, and totally speechless at their beautiful photos.

I know for a fact that 3 people at the wedding are after her for different events in the coming year, and I am looking to book for a portrait session too, her stunning images have put my (ridiculously expensive and old fashioned looking) wedding photos to shame.

I will leave Crantock to post any images she would like to show you but just wanted to publicly say THANKYOU to elizaclaire photography ( https://elizaclairephotography.wordpress.com/ ) for a fantastic service, amazing images and for making my twin sisters wedding fantastic and I know we will all treasure the photos forever.

Thanks again

Tracie x

What a great testimony! If we lived nearer I would definitely be in touch for my own day.

Awww, thank you Tracie ? I'm all emotional now!

It was a real pleasure to work with Claire and Marc, and I loved meeting you all. The wedding was fab, such good fun. I'm pleased that everyone likes the images, and I'm so, so pleased that Claire has photographs of her day that she'll treasure.

Crantock, read this last night but then got distracted reading through your website and nosying on your blog so forgot to come back and post.

Just wanted to say well done on the N&P from one photographer to another. From what I have read from posts of yours you seem to really have your head screwed on right in terms of getting you business off to a great start and finding your position in what can be a cluttered market. Your photos look great, hope you do really well.

Thanks, Beccy, that's really kind of you to say so. I'm working hard right now, it's something I love doing and I really want to make the business side work.
