I am loving the recent trend in ambulance chasing adverts...

...of adding an its-not-about-the-money reason for claiming right at the end of the segment, so as not to appear that all they are interested in is the money. For example:

"I slipped over at work on a wet floor and injured my knee. I was in a lot of pain so I contacted AmbulanceChasers4U and they got me £9,000."

<afterthought>

"And now they put signs up when the floor is wet to stop it happening to anyone else"

? They're not fooling me.

    Wait till you're at home on ML and the beggars call you up to ask if you've been in an accident and want some compo! Then, when you say no, they ask about any family and friends...

    Try saying 'yes I've been harrassed by a company of amublance chasers and want to sue them for all the mental distress they've caused me and all my family and friends' and see how fast they hang up!

    God, if I sued everytime i fell on my @rse I'd be a millionaire by now.

    Oh yes, them and the "let us write your will" people are my favourites. The joy of being home during the day is not just Jeremy Kyle y'know!

    (He's fantastic and now weighs over a stone!)

    i've seen that on the ambulance chaser ads too. 'theres now a box for them to throw the wrapping strips away in. which was my motivation all along...'

    It's actually 'and the plastic - that's taken care of'. A reference to the wrapping strips, or a cunningly veiled reference to the complainant benig able to pay off her credit card bill? ?

    I really know far too much about this subject ?
