Hi! Welcome. We only visited 2. But we trawlled the internet and did a few drive buys too.

We visited 3, but spent hours researching on the Internet.

Mind you all my research hasn't helped as I still can't make a final decision

We had a very specific requirement so only visited one.

Hi and welcome to Hitched! We had a look on the internet first at places nearby and got some idea of pricing before we went to see them, and then looked at a few to compare, before picking one. Wherabouts in the country are you, as some Hitchers may be able to recommend venues?

we looked at 3. After the first one we thought we had found our venue, then we saw number 2 and I preferred it. After the disaster venue number 3 was both of us knew we wanted number 2!

we looked online at loads of venues and went to see 5, we live in England and are getting married in Scotland so we only had a few days to find something so I spent a lot of time researching online before we went to make sure we were looking at the right ones.

Hi and welcome. My other half and I both said what we wanted from the venue and then we searched the Internet to see what we liked/could afford. We ended up seeing two places. I fell in love with the first place we saw but thought that we should really see some more places. The second place we saw was similar and also very nice but nothing could compare with the first place we saw so we booked.

You get a feeling and when you can start imagining yourself in your dress there duetting married you know you are onto a winner!

We only looked at one, I'd loved the venue since I first saw pictures as a teenager and thought "I'd love to get married there when I do get married but I bet it will be way out of price range".....well several years later, our wedding is booked at this venue

I searched for what must have been hundreds online! Then visited maybe 4 or 5?

I didn't view any. There's a little village hall I knew would suit our budget and our preferred ambience perfectly.

Hello and welcome to Hitched.

We visited none. When we first discussed getting married we both wanted to do what OH's sister had done - a marquee in the FPILs garden. Used the same marquee company too.

Not much help I'm afraid! If we had needed a venue I imagine I would have done a lot of research, including getting quotations and dates, before taking OH to 2-3 places for the final decision. The internet is so helpful!

we looked at 4 , we couldn't find what we wanted spent ages looking on line and then ended up with one that we had ruled out due to cost but we had since changed how we wanted our wedding so it worked well.
