You might well get banned for that ? That's just incredible, it really is. What was it that motivated you to start, loml was asknig me the other day (he is slightly obsessed with you ?)?

Is he still planning on wearing his t-shirt? ?

What started me off was someone suggesting doing a 10k for charity. I'd kind of planned to lose weight this year but that was like every year since forever. I like a challenge and that proved to be the motivating factor.

Well done. My BMI was similar when I got pregnant (GOK what it is going to be after I give birth in 7 weeks or so) and it's good to hear success stories as I am really going to give it my best shot to get rid of the weight this time.

Mr R started running this year and he has lost a good couple of stone at least, although he wasn't as overweight as I am.

    Well done Baron.

Is this it now or are you planning to lose more?

Not sure if you remember my photo of the husband who's a similar height/weight/build to you and is about BMI 25. I find it hard to lose weight under about BMI 24 but IMHO most blokes look better at the upper end of the 'normal weight' scale!

Thanks - I do remember that photo. Unfortunately my build seems to be that of a far lankier bloke than I imagined so despite being a healthy weight, I'm still actually carrying a bit of a gut (you'd not really notice in some clothes but I couldn't wear a slimmer fitting t shirt without showing some belly) - although I assume some of that will never shift given that it used to be several inches bigger. On that basis, I think I'm going to try and aim for a BMI of about 23 i.e. another stone. However, I am planning now to slow down any weight loss to no more than 1lb per week. Don't really want to risk losing the muscle tone that I've built up by running and trying to lose weight too fast would put that in jeopardy.

Well done BGB I await the photos with baited breath

I don't have any before pics as I hate the camera, even more so when I was fatter but in a way I wish I did. I caught side of myself the other day reflected in a door way and looked behind me to see who's slender arse I was looking at. I can hardly believe it was me (ok so not slender but hugely different to 4 months ago
