I am officially engaged!!! Woop!

Even though we've been secretly planning for a bit, I was waiting for my Christmas present....

So I came home from work last night to a wonderful meal that OH had made (Christmas dinner!), a "fiancee" christmas card and I now have a pretty ring on my finger ?

So we had a lovely lunch today with one of our friends and met his new girlfriend, where OH asked him to be his best man. Our friend nearly fell off his chair in disbelief and excitement!

Now to tell OH's parents when we see them for breakfast on Christmas day...

    Has your camera got a close-up option??? I would also not get too close to the ring, dont use a flash oh and get blokey to take it for you Smiley smile

    Wonderful news.. congrats. To take a photo of your ring first turn the flash off on your camera, then take the photo in natural light and it will come out a lot clearer, if you are under artificial lights, esp spotlights the sparkle of the ring will blur the photo ?

    Woo hoo congratulations. You might need to use a Macro setting on your camera to get a clear picture so close up. x

    Big congratulations!!!

    This is my story! We are secretly planning everything main things are booked but because OH wants to propose and do it "properly" im still waiting for the proposal, Im hoping it will be christmas day or new year when he takes me to scotland but he keeps saying I will do it when you least expect it. I just wish he'd blooming get on with it so we can tell everyone! hehe!

    CONGRATS! How lovely!

    To take a picture you need to use the "macro" setting on your camera (this means close up), the symbol on most cameras look like a tulip.

    As someone else said, you may need to turn the flash off.
