I am sad. Happiness needed.

*Mini*, 8 June, 2012 at 12:29 Posted on Off Topic Posts 0 21

I have had a dreadful week- yes I have moaned about it on the good/bad thread but actually, I want a whole thread dedicated to my misery.

We went camping in Lyme Regis this week, its been the wettest, windiest week known to man. Our tent leaked. We were unable to cook anything, or dry our clothes. Neither of us slept more than about 2 hours a night due to the noise of the wind/rain (even after impressive cider consumption)

We left a day early so lost out on the £25 fee, on the drive home- the engine light came on in the car. Called the RAC- 2 hours to get rescued, then back to a garage so a new part could be fitted. Am now £100 poorer.

Got home last night- one of the kittens is ill.

Oh and I have huge amounts of tooth pain, my mouth has a golf ball in it and I have no dentist- am seeing an emergency dentist at 2.15 today but am worried a tooth will have to come out.

Please cheer me up?

Oh dear. I went to the dentist with an emergency chipped tooth and I was in and out really quickly with no pain so it may not be as bad as you think.

As for the car at least you were on your way home and not on the way there. Hopefully you will look back on the wet camping trip and have a bit of a laugh about it - carry on camping style!

Do you have time this weekend to have a bit of a pamper session or relax with OH and a glass of wine? Just remember monday is a new week.?

My friend went camping this week too, after working hard to pay for a beautiful, warm home she said she sat in the wet field with the wind howling around her ears wondering why she hadn't stayed there instead.

I'm not sure how I can cheer you up, but maybe listen to a bit of D:Ream? Things can only get better....

Haha thanks ladies- forgot to mention, my posts may seem more erratic and badly typed than normal. Blame the drugs.

What happened was: I am covering the reception desk and logged in to Hitched and it remembered me from last time, but as my old name. Logged out and in again and it is all ok. Dammit!

Apart from tell me off? No. I'm no dentist but I am pretty sure it needs to come out. Only half of it is through.

Yeah I saw that on FB. Thats rubbish, what a cow. Do you have a dental hospital near you? They will whip it out for you no probs, you just have to go first thing Monday morning and wait.

You can drink safely on those antibiotics though, just don't go mad ?

I doubt they'll want to take it out until the infection clears up?

I've got Amelogenesis imperfecta which went untreated for years due to fear and embarrassment and I'm now in the midst of the massive repair job and I've had 11 teeth out and some have been due to infections because of cavities.

It depends on the condition of the tooth as to whether it comes out or not, out of my 5 infections 4 were removed and one was fixed with a root canal
