I am So Happy...Well as happy as can be

FIONATS73, 9 March, 2009 at 09:34 Posted on Planning 0 5

As you know I have bought my dress a couple of sizes to small. Went to get weighed on Friday. Unfortunately had lost no weight, so H2b was little annoyed and told me that my dress would never fit and was a complete ass! But he did not know I have been trying it on since xmas. Mum suggested we should go and it may encourage me. So Friday afternoon, we made an appointment and went to try it on. Late Jan early Feb tried it on big kick up the ass would not go near me. 10 days ago she manged to get the zip up by 2 inches.

Friday ? the dress has now fallen to sit in all the correct places. Sadly she did not fasten the zip but the hay everything is going the right way! When I first bought it the top was to big and it still is. But the boned point bit now sits flat where before it kept bending up. The 2 pelts at the side now sit flat, and the modesty piece is correct at the top and about an inch 1/2 of the bottom. She managed to tie a very small bow into the lace where before it was a knot. So as long as no ones looks behind me the front is fine, just the back sadly fat sitting at the top not nice, and my bum. So need to carry on at the gym and work as hard as can be, going back at the end of the month to try again to see if it fits better

Well done you. You've still got plenty of time to lose a bit more. I more concerned that my wobbly bits are all falling south!?

Men are pigs sometimes. H2B is not very supportive when it comes to my diet so I completely sympathise.

Well done you. Remember that if you are going to the gym then you are less likely to lose weight as muscle weighs more than fat. But you will (as you have found out) lose inches.

I have been healthy eating and going to the gym since beginning of Jan and have only lost 3lbs. But I have lost 31/2" off belly, 1" off each thigh, 1/2" off tops of arms and 1" off my bum and hips.

So stick with it and you will continue to see improvement. It's definitely worth measuring as well as weighing.

Thanks ladies, thats what keeps going through my head I will prove h2b I will get into it.

1 because I have to and there is no time to get new dress now reaching 5 month mark

2 this dress was meant for me, as it was the 1st I saw and the last 1 to buy as it has been discontinued (none of the other dresses compared to this, when I tried it on I did not want to take it off, didn't on Friday either a good 40 mins it was on)

Thank you, I totally agree with you. Since Christmas I have lost 18lb and since the 13th Jan I have lost 7 1/2 inches. I am acutally over due for my measure so need to book it in this week, may try to loose couple of pound before I do ?
