Just wanted to share that after 5 bridal shops, I have found and bought 'The one', today. Its Stella York 5835, I adore it. It was well under budget at £799, and they do made to measure which means for just £75, the dress will be ordered in my length exactly. Then all that's needed altered is the side seems to be taken in..
It takes 12 weeks to come in and so I will be back in middle of June to try my actual dress on, which is great as the one I tried on was a 12, and they have ordered me an 8, so I will get to see the back as it will look, rather than ruffled up with pins. But I knew as soon as she was doing it up that I adored it and it was the one. I left the shop promising to come back on 5th April to try and buy, but I only made it as far as Starbucks, then I called them and said, I want it, I cant leave without buying it...lol. So after a large skinny caramel macchiato and a muffin cake, I went back, got measured, was even more delighted and have paid the deposit.
So happy, as I was getting bored, impatient and disheartened, but its true what they say, when you know you know. However there was no tears or anything like that, but I was brimming from ear to ear and I knew it had everything I was looking for in a dress. I have my Barbados wedding dress...whoooooooooooooooo!
