teeheeyoucrazyguys!

I did some maths - god i'm thick!!

teeheeyoucrazyguys!, 24 July, 2008 at 20:39 Posted on Planning 0 14

Didnt sleep well last night. One things that popped into my head however was this rather boring but possibly useful fact.

I have bought enough materials to make 120 wedding invites.

However, as most invites are being sent to COUPLES I do NOT need to make 120 invites.

How can I have been so stoopid!???

You'll all sleep better knowing that boring but possibly useful fact Smiley smile

You can use the spare to make Thank You cards - so not wasted at all, in fact rather clever of you!

ahh well they arent conventional invitations - they are flat, not cards. But yes I'm sure I will be able to use the materials easy enough towards thank you letters/selling the bits on. Smiley smile

You are not alone, I did similar too

I thought I needed 70 invitations, we only invited 78 people including children

I also bought enough bits to do the orders of the day, thank you cards and bits and pieces

Yep, I did the same thing too - except ours were printed for us so couldn't even use them for anything else.

Not stoopid, just forward planning as you now have enough stuff to make 60 invites and 60 thank you cards!! You were acually being highly efficient without even trying! Now that is talent!!

This seems to be a common mistake.

I did the same but used the spare stuff to make the thank you cards.

Doh! I didn't think of this either! I was counting out my save the date cards, but didn't take into account families and couples, thank god I saw this thread before I started printing them! Thank you!

I did this too! But it's worked out well for me as it's meant I've had lots of spare materials for accidents, prototype designs and the like.
