I don't post often but desperately need to let off steam!!!

LauraJaneRush, 5 October, 2010 at 22:07 Posted on Planning 0 5

Hello,

I dont often post on here but have been addicted for the last 14 months!!

Just feeling a bit down really and need to get it out!! In the last 2 weeks h2b and I have had to move back in with our own parents-an hour away from each other! We're buying a house but still waiting for a completion date although yesterday were told they were aiming for the 18th Oct. Work is crazy at the moment as Im in a new year group and have to do so much in the next 2 weeks. Plus got the final arrangements for the wedding and at ww tonight I had put on 2,5 lbs-was over 2 weeks and my hen do but just stressed me out even more!!

The more stressed I am the less exercise I do and the more junk I eat!!! aaaaahhhh..

Now breathe, ok stress over and back to myself!! lol

I hope all other October brides are doing better than I am!!x

Hi - it sounds like it's all been a bit much at once, esp being kept apart from H2B during all this stress.

Weddings are enough work on there own without all these extra things you have! But it does mean when you get hitched then all these things will be closer to being all sorted for your happy married life together.

Hope you manage to relax a bit tonight and that tomorrow things feel a bit easier.

    and 2.5 lbs is nothing!

It looks like you're writing my thoughts (apart from the moving house business).

What year group do you teach now?

I'm trying to accept I will be fat on my wedding day BUT that's the way people know me and the way H2B loves me... I know we will look gorgeous nonetheless ?

Aaaawww chick sounds like your having a right old time at the mo when you should be getting exctied about your upcoming fab day!!

I think a large of glass of wine and time to reflect on the positives is in order hun.

Believe me 2.5lbs is nothing!! especially over two weeks and copious amounts of alcohol on your hen do.

Hope you get chance to chill and start to enjoy the most wonderful day of yourlife.

    Big hugs xxxxx

2.5lbs is nothing you can change that much day to day. You are going through a lot of stress at the moment so cut yourself some slack.

Thanks everyone-just needed to vent really!

I have moved from 3/4 mix to foundation/year 1. I love the year group but the two stages are so different that its tough to know if Im doing the right thing! I've been on an intense fs target tracker course today, have got a cold and a headache and Im being observed tomorrow!!

Im trying to accept that this is the size that I will be for my wedding but really struggling with photos of my hen and looking at my arms-Im now considering getting a bolero but how would I match it to the colour of the dress??

I can't belive the wedding is so close!!!

No wonder you are stressed lovely! Like the others have said, cut yourself some slack! It's not long to the wedding and you have a lot on! 2.5 lbs is nothing! You could have a big poo and lose it again!

I was worried about our wedding as I'm a sturdy bride, however I didn't at any point feel ugly/ self conscious at all. Yes, looking at the photos I could have one less chin but I have always been a sturdy lass and I have dealt with this. I still felt amazing on the day and wouldn't change it.

Your family, friends, and more importantly your H2B loves you just as you are. Treat yourself to a hot bath, a glass of wine and some yummy food tonight - that is an order!

You will look BOOTIFUL on the big day - all brides do! x

PS. Froglet you are not fat so stop being silly - that is an order!! x
