I got my dress yesterday

It’s an evening dress not a wedding dress because I didn’t want anything white or ivory it’s just not me at all

Ignore the jacket its hideous I’m having the frills taken off and it turned into a cap sleeved bolero, I’m also having some extra beading added to the dress and jacket to make it a bit more sparkly and an extra layer of netting added to fill the skirt out a bit more

This is the only pic I can find online and doesnt really do it justice

    Yes it is still weddingy even more so than it looks it that picture. I'm very excited because the lady they use to do the beading it the person who does all the dresses for Strictly Come Dancing !!

    I like it too. I had similar issues with wearing white/ivory as I tend to spend my life in black or dark colours... I'm settling on an ivory dress with some colour in it.

    I adore the colour and the dress is a perfect non typical wedding dress but still looking like the part...does that make sense?

    It reminds me of my bm's dress. Very good choice and if you have a ball or fancy function to go to you could wear it again which would be fantastic xx
