I got my Wedding Jewellery! *FLASH*

BumbleBrat, 25 August, 2010 at 22:48 Posted on Planning 0 10

Sooooo excited!! I took my Mum shopping this afternoon as I'd seen a necklace that I loved when I went shopping last week with my FMIL. Mum had already told me she would get all of my jewellery for me as she did with my Sister for her wedding. We didn't leave until 4pm as my Mum had work, it took another 45 minutes to get there and the shop was shut. I was so disheartened, it had shut at 4. So we were on our way back to the Park and ride Bus stop and I asked Mum if she wanted to go into a shabby chic shop that I love so we went in and had a look at their jewellery counter, Fell in love with a necklace and matching bracelet and had to have it! There were two similar ones, one with all matching ivory pearls and one with 3 different pearl colours. Mum likes the 3 diff colours but I liked the ivory one. To settle it I asked my little niece who had come along (My tiniest bridesmaid) and she said she liked the ivory one like Auntie Nat so that was that.

Here it is!! I absolutely loooove the sparkly bits!! Gotta keep it a secret from H2B now for 15 months, which will be hard cos whenever I go shopping I get everything out of the bags and have to show him everything like a show and tell at school lol.

My Mum offered to keep it at hers so H2B doesn't see it but I was like noooooo, I need to get it out every so often and admire it lol!

I thought it was very reasonable - Necklace was £22.50 and the bracelet was £12.95 from a shop called Vinegar Hill. It is something I will use again after the wedding as I love pearls.

Just need some earrings to match now! Dunno whether to go for just diamond studs or small pearl studs... Hmm!

Lovely elegant set. I'd go for pearl studs to keep the same materials in the whole set although diamond studs will never look out of place...a girl can never have too many diamonds after all!
