I was sooooooo excited about seeing my dress today - i ordered it last October and had made to measure measurements taken in January so it's been ages since i saw it!!!
Had a few wobbles in mean time - as you do when it's been so long since you wore it.
I'm so so happy with it - it's just a million times better than the sample and so so gorgeous!!! We worked out how to bustle it up which i was worried about it as the train is quite big and unusual. I actually cried which i never thought i would! My mum still loved it and one of my BMs who hadn't seen it yet came and loved it. I'd had the back changed to a lace up which just looks perfect and it's exactly right height with my shoes which i was worried about as they are higher than original ones i had.
Best bit is they have to take it in 1.5 inches at each seam as i've lost over 3 inches on my waist and hips so that made me happy!!!!! So in the pics its pinched to the outside with pins and the silhouette will actually be 1.5 inches slimmer on each side...
Pics dont really do it justice as there is so much detail you can't see like the tiny sparkles on the organza and the knot of the train. The underskirt of train isnt really pulled out properly either....
