I have a puppy- now with a picture

Sprout is a fab name for a puppy! But I think we NEED some photos.

Ahh, congrats on the arrival of your fur-baby! I am sure she'll offer you years and years of enjoyment and unconditional love. Really, I could never thank my dog enough for all that she gives me. She's currently snuggled up on my lap which is her favourite (and mine) place to be.

Oh definitely, sprout is indeed a fabby name but oh yes we need photo proof that she actually turned up!!

Fully expecting a sleepless night, her crate is being put into our room and I will be settting the alarm to get up 4 hourly to offer her the opportunity to wee/ poo! It's like having a new baby!

We had a great first night with Douglas (scottie) he slept in the kitchen and I think was so worn out by the journey from Leeds and by meeting our Westie that he just wanted some peace and quiet! Good luck ?

Aw, I have been waiting and looking for this announcement! I need too see a photo too although I will just get broody for another pup, they are sooo cute and tiny! Freddie is 6 months old this week - this is him today at our local woods (if this photo attachment works for me). You are guaranteed so much fun with Sprout!

ETA She is gorgeous! I love them when they are still black and curly, I was quite sad when Fredster had to have his first clip and insisted he kept the curly black tail! Just want another one now, thank goodness I cant afford it!

Yes it works I edited my previous post, she is just so cute! And they are really easy to house train as well because they are super intelligent!

Monkey Fingers - rather randomly your name always reminds me of an episode of Phoenix Nights where Max and Paddy go on a 'booze cruise' to France and find some Cadbury's Chocolate Fingers called "Les Cadbury's Fingres". Whenever I see your name I always think "Les Monkey Fingres". Not sure why I'm sharing this, mind.

Good luck with the toilet training, I remember standing outside in November, in a howling gale and driving rain, at 3 am, under a golf umbrella, with Dexter as a pup - he (sensibly) kept wanting to run indoors but we stood out there until he did 'go toilet' (the key phrase). It soon passes, but it is hell when you're in the midst of it... At least it's a bit warmer for you both at the moment!

Oh - and Dexter *hated* the cage with venom; not all dogs get on with them so just in case Sprout hates it, it's not your fault!
