I know when I first joined hitched I posted about buying a dress from ebay and some people said go for it and others strongly advised against it. Well since then I found the dress I want in a bridal salon, and it was £1300, I then saw the exact same dress on ebay for £110.00. The lady has sold loads of dresses and has really good feedback, so I figure, in the grand scheme of things its worth a try for £110! And if its rubbish, at least Ive tried and can pay for the shop one. But if its lovely, which i am confident it will be, then what a saving!!! In the bridal salon the woman said that this dress was actually made in china when they order it, so it may even be the same woman making it!
When I ordered it the lady was lovely, lots of contact checking my sizes and checking how i wanted the dress to do up etc, and has told me exactly how long it will take. 4-5 weeks!! So .... watch this space!!
