My son is terrible at the mo, as he has nobody to play with, and takes his frustration out on us.

I have two children aged 5 and almost 2, and that's plenty of me, i come from a family of 6 children so i know two is good for me, my two play nicely (most of the time) for me personally 2 is good any more and i'd be pulling my hair out ! x

I only have 1 child (a son) He has been an absolute sweetheart so far, he is 15 next & I have not even had any teenage strops from him, Dont know what I have done to deserve such a good son.

I am quite strict though, so maybe my no nonsense approach has done some good. He was a dream when he was younger too & is very outgoing & happily fits in with others, never had any problems with him being an only child & moping around on his own, he always amused himself pretty well if he was on his own for long.

He is into girls & his ps3 now, so dont get to see him as much as I would like but who wants to spend time with their parents when they are a teenager (I know I didnt)

I have NEVER regretted only having the 1 child & when I hear friends moaning about their children (as in more than 1 child) I am GLAD I stuck with the 1.

My boys are 4 and 15 months and they already fight! The yougest is the worst. Most of the time I leave them to it until they start whacking each other with swords!

I have 3 boys, 18,15 and 4 yrs, so in away have the 2 eldest as close siblings and the 4yr old is almost an only child, even max considers himself as having 4 grown ups that look after him - we had the conversation last week, although jake is a bit smellie and he's not sure if he includes him lol

i never wanted an odd number of kids, but i'm getting on a bit and hubby doesn't want anymore, but do feel that my youngest will miss out on a lot being on his own, all kids fight, i think the close bonds come when they leave home. i didn't get on with my brother or sister when i was at home, but now are really close x
