I know I shouldn't change anything about him......

DianeB, 19 June, 2009 at 23:00 Posted on Planning 0 6

....but his feet stink just now. I am trying to get him to go to the doctor in case it's some sort of fungal infection but he's being all manly!!!!!

He's had two showers tonight so far and they are starting to smell again.?

Sorry, just wanted to share my misery.

Ahh yes...... that ole chestnut...... its just a man thing. poor bloke. Mines tried special insoles and sprays his feet before putting on his sox.

If I could change anything about mine it would be his temper..........I just switch off now coz if I dare speak my mind it will prolly send his blood pressure sky high as he rants. I am marrying Victor Meldrew. Unbeliveable!

..................his lack of assertiveness (is that a word?!) If you want to do something to earn us more money, do it now before the wedding is over and we are in shed loads more debt, Ugh! and breathe!

Unfortunately I am the one with the smelly feet ☹️ I just don't know what else I can do with them! Suggestions welcome x

Similar to teehee - mine will fly off in a rage about the most trivial of things. We laugh about it afterwards, as I always turn it into a joke. But he'll get really angry and swear if he drops his fork, for example. It's so petty and I actually can't understand how he gets so angry!

Also, I think this may be another man thing, but he doesn't know what pain is.....so he'll stub his toe, or bang his funny bone, and then for the next day or so, he'll moan about how much pain he's in.

He also eats indigestion tablets like they're going out of fashion. And like the Father's love of Windolene, in "My Big Fat Greek Wedding", he will suggest them for many ailments!

But I would never want to change him....all this makes him who he is.....God love him!

My h2b is stuck in the "olden" days were women live in the kitchen and do all the cooking and cleaning and he brings home the bacon....if I open a window it stays open till I close it, he won't eat a proper cooked meal until I make it etc etc etc but I wouldn't change him, maybe just a wee bit though ?

His selective hearing! ? He only listens to what he wants to hear!

For example, i told him 4 times last week that we needed to see the florist on Saturday.

So Saturday (Yesterday) comes round and he says "So, what are we doing today?"

Me- "Ummm, going to see the florist, i told you 4 times last week"

OH-" Nope, you definitely didn't say anything about the florist."

Then, the worst thing is that he convinces me that i never said anyhting about the florist, which then makes me think it's me that's going crazy! He does it all the time! I love him all th same though! ❤️
