I know it depends on the region, but in general when do the kids go back to school

WSS, in Hampshire we go back on 3rd Sept but I know lots of people don't go back til 7th. Wait til then and you'll be safe! (Also just look online at holiday prices, as soon as they drop you know you're safe!)

Thanks. Our Wedding anniversary is on the 6th so I would have fancied that date to be included, seems it is bang in the middle.

I start my new teaching job in Buckinghamshire on 1st Sept but kids come back on 3rd, early this year! In Norfolk & Bristol its not till 7th

My son goes back on the 4th as he starting in year 7. My daughter doesn't go back till the 10th (private school) and I've got an inset day on the 2nd. I live in West Berkshire
