Yeppers we can do anything! We can make you thinner, fatter, taller, smaller, wider, longer, more hair, less hair, bald or beards, trim your ears, change your nose, clean your teeth, switch frowns to smiles and grimaces to grins. We can even change your dress lol!

Well I posted my reply tongue in cheek, lol, but it is pretty close to the truth...we can do almost anything. The wedding I'm photographing on Saturday the groom is over one foot taller than the bride. For their engagement photos they got me to close the gap to just a few inches so their heads are more on a level. We are using the engagement pics for a slideshow during the reception. Tricks of the trade sometimes come in handy! lol

Lolol curly....they (wasp ones!) arent flattering piccies! I'm too embarrased. I love this picture but I look all scowly and stuff...needed to be told to smile/relax I think!

Why would a couple want to change their height in their wedding pics????I think thats a shame, as its a definate untrue image...... Losing my flabby arms would have been only a little alteration, lol. Im 5/1 and my hubbys 6/3! Wouldnt change the wedding pics to be same height...

Haha! We lived near an aiport and in the summer 08 we saw the spitfire replica take part in an airshow, all loop de loop etc etc. So In the new year of 09 I wrote to the air association based there and asked them to forward my details to the pilot. The pilot said he'd be delighted to take part.

I cant post pics of the plane flying as that was a deal we made with the chap.... I had seen the plane practising above our house which I was really excited about, and pleased as I thought the rain would have kept him grounded. I could hear it approach the church but no one had a clue. The tog knew and gathered everyone to the front of the church for a massive group photo.

Twas like it had been scripted, just as we were about to have our pic taken, the rumble of the engines got louder and I excitedly squealed 'Ladies and Gentlemen, Look up!' and the plane appeared from the right hand side and the guests were gobsmacked! He flew around the church a few times and then headed for the airport. Our reception was en route to the airport so whilst our buses took everyone away, we went to have our photos taken with the plane. It was just sooo lovely. We 'paid' a token gesture to the chap and sent him a couple of photos.

Hubby is desp to get his pilot licence and loves the Spitfire so..... initially i wanted it to be a surprise for him but felt i needed him to talk to the pilot... we were the talk of the village for many months. I'd do it all again in a heartbeat! Sorry, i seem to have written a novel!

Heheh all my favours for the boys were the Polygliders u got as kids?? I really thought there would be a deluge of them when hubbys said his speech but no, everyone was very behaved with them...

are there any plane enthusiasts down your way who would do something similar?

I do know where Mr Hawkins is coming from. Romantic images are about the couple. In a straightforward shot, ones face could be 18 inches away from the other....best shots have these faces closer together. My biggest range IIRC was a 6'6 groom and a 4'10" bride....they were way apart in real terms and it required a bit of technique to get them "together" naturally in the images.

On the flip side, I once had a 5' groom and a 6' bride....it can work both ways......

"Why would a couple want to change their height in their weddings pics?"

I maybe should have clarified...their wedding is this afternoon so they arent married yet. It was a couple of photos from their engagement shoot that will be used at the reception tonight, not their wedding photos. They havent done this with all their engagement pics just two that they requested. Teehee, you could ask your tog to fix the smile/expression on your face in any of the photos that you wanted. It really is a personal thing, but just about all things are possible.
