I Pod help

Carrie74, 15 May, 2009 at 13:03 Posted on Off Topic Posts 0 1

Hello

I'm a bit of a technophobe and don't really "get" how IPods work.

I uploaded some MP3 tunes (IPod compatible), but when they were to go into my library, it seemed to load up a new library for me. When I went to synch my Ipod, it said there was a new library, had wiped out my and H's playlists, and if we synch our Ipods, we have to start from the beginning again (all our other songs have appeared on this "new" library, so other than having to re-create our playlists, and re-load all the artwork, nothing's actually been lost).

So far, I haven't synched the Ipods (although I want to, as I want to add the new MP3 songs!), and was hoping someone may be able to help me before we have to start all over again...

? TIA

I put songs on my ipod shuffle the other day it was easy enough (so I thought) got to work clicked play and it repeated each song 4 times. I put it on shuffle mode and it still did it - I was not happy. I know that if you have 2 pcs/laptops and you connect your ipod from one pc and then try it with another it will erase the content for security reasons... may its having a hissy fit cos you have two ipods but I cannot see this being the problem as H has the iphone and its never done this to us. Really wish you all the best - complicated or what???
