My bridesmaid - who wears NO make up EVER and doesnt do anything with her hair did really well and looked lovely. Was v v strange seeing her with make up on. The lady doing the make up said to me 'She thinks its too much and this is the lightest I've ever done!' It was perfect.
However, my make up was mixed reactions and crossed wires. My 'smokey eye' look is subtle and not an all over effect which resembles a punched eye. The eyeliner was laid on too thick and tho I was getting oooh and aahs from the salon it just didnt sit well with me. I wanted my own make-up style just done professionally if you see what I mean?
I had blusher too which was a first for me and my red lips looked great.... I came home, re-did my eyes the best I could and sent a pic back to the salon. It was hardly the same, cheapy eyeshadow cant compare to what I was getting there...the photos didnt do it much justice but i'm booked in for another make up trial in a few weeks time.
my hair on the other hand was amazing - its a shame ive had to take it out for his impending return from work.... its not how I imagined and though it stil wasnt dry by the time I had left the shop, once its dried, it wont look so fixed and gelled. I know its going to work so well with the dress.
