All I know is melancholie set up a new forum www.hitched.freeforums.org

However I am unsure of the reasons for this, but I think its part of the reason why there is an apology sticky on every forum!

No mystery - there are loads of threads about the new place.

I'm "scared" to click onto it as so many people were posting days ago about getting a virus when logging on?

I think one person thinking she might have got a virus from the new site is not loads.

Mel started it as an alternative just for when there was down time here, but when everyone got hacked off with te down time, the slowness and then the ticking off for swearing the new forum took off in a big way ?

I did go over to the other place it looked a bit more busy than here but then got a virus warning thing and my computer wasn't the same until I'd done a full virus scan and clean. It seems to crash quite often so people end up coming back here to post.

Are there any legal implications of using "hitched" in the new forums name?

It's not in the name. Simply in the url as far as I'm aware? And as long as Hitched isn't a copyrighted word, I'm not sure there's an issue?

ps. not clued up on legal wotnots though so could be hugely wrong there x
