I would like someone to invent / create

Seedless watermelon. Fed up of having to remove seeds.

What 'little thing' would you like someone to invent / create?

I would like a little clockwork gizmo that you wind up and pop into a pan of boiled spuds and it trundles around and turns them into mash.

    I would like a self-cleaning house, or failing that a house-cleaning robot.

You can get seedless watermelon. At least I buy it over here. It does have a few softish white seeds in it, but they aren't an inconvenience.

A car that drives itself. Then I can sit and read my book while it takes me to work. (not a train, that doesn't take me door to door ?)

    A hangover cure.

Oh, and a virtual reality sex machine, so that you could program in your fantasy, and have the machine do things to you whilst showing the appropriate images...

Shampoo that you only have to wash your hair with once every six months. I seem to spend most of my life washing and drying my hair.

    A guaranteed-to-work love potion ?

Bizarrely I used to share a house with a girl who was working on creating something like this for her PhD - she was sponsored to do this by L'Oreal!

WSS- I've never seen it but my new GR cookbook lists it as an ingredient so it must exist in the UK.

I'd like someone to invent a baby carseat that it's possible to carry without whacking your knees.

Self ironing clothes that also hang themselves up, and socks that pair up automatically.

I want a hairdryer/straightener combo that does my hair exactly like the salon does in about 5 seconds flat.

Oh and hairspray that really does stop frizzing but doesn't make it look like I've emptied a chip pan over my head.

And I'll steal LaP's coffee robot but make it make tea instead ?

Something like those flat escalators/human conveyor belts you get in airports but in place of roads, so you can just jump on at a certain point and get off when you reach your destination. Any invention actually that would mean I can commute cheaply and quickly!

And something like a microwave that makes things cold super quick (like in 30seconds) so you don't have wait ages for your bottle of wine to be cold enough.

Remotes with legs, so they can walk over to me when the baby falls asleep on me and the telly remotes are on the other side of the room. Oh, and a tv that can switch itself on, obviously.

seedless watermelon available in the UK, btw.
