mrs_stone2011, 22 February, 2009 at 17:33 Posted on Planning 0 7

Ok so my bridesmaids will be 23, 27 and 5. The best man is my H2B grandad and the ushers are H2B older brother and work mate. All of the men smoke and drink (if that helps)

My maid of honour is the 23 year old. I want to get her something special becuase she has been my best friend since we were born.

I dont know where to start

Please Help! Any Ideas are welcome

I bought my flowergirls something from this range. I think they make lovely presents for little-uns

Here's what we got for our ladies/men/boys:

Maid of Honour (my sister, 42): Engraved silver mirror compact; glass ornament engraved with "Special Sister"

Bridesmaids (my cousin, 28, and my niece, 20): Engraved silver mirror compact

Best Man (H's brother, 30): Silver engraved USB flash drive (he's properly into computers and loved it!)

Ushers (my brother, 44, H's best friend, 28): Mother of pearl cufflinks engraved with the football team they support in a box engraved with the wedding date and "Thanks for being our usher"

Page boys (my nephew, 2½, and H's cousin, 2¾): Engraved silver yo-yos.

    HTH!

I have no idea what i'm getting my sister (CBM) as she is a bit trendy and cool so maybe a cool piece of alternative or vintage jewellery.

my mum has a pandora bracelet so i'm going to get her a charm for it. dependant on how much you want to spend you could get your MOH one of these? think the actual bracelets start at about £55?

This site. I got the Jennifer ones, but they have loads. This is also where I got the yo-yos for the page boys.

Ooooooooooo like the engraved USB drive, our Best man has been a best man to a few people, and is also going to live abroad soon for a while, so anything big is out of the question and also he probably has a few of the usual custom type best man gifts. Have emailed the link to a site for H2B to look at tomorrow and hope he agrees, we don't have long left to get it and H2B is dithering too much, it is the only thing I have left to get!!!
