Ideas for reverse of menu

MayDay, 10 March, 2009 at 13:29 Posted on Planning 0 4

Help! Need some creative ideas and wording to go on the back of the menu's. We've already decided we don't want a formal order of service and not keen on committing to timings for first dance etc (just in case it changes). We were going to have some like:

"Angelina and Brad would like to thank all their friends and family for being here today and sharing their special day" but I kind of think it sounds a bit too formal?

We wanted to say something about sharing a few drinks and dancing the night away but I'm rubbish with words. Any suggestions appreciated!!

Thanks

Not exactly what you were thinking of but we are thinking of putting one of our readings on the back of the menus. I love our readings and they are really special to us - so I quite like having them printed somewhere for people to read.

I think we are going to have a verse that my parents had on the reverse of their menus - its about the seating plan and how not everyone can go at the front and basically we did the best we could!

You could have ten little known facts about the bride and groom? Or something equally lighthearted?

Practical head on, I tend to advise my brides to put their menus on the reverse of the table numbers/names.

Thanks for the ideas...we're having table names on stands and I'd like to have the menus as tent cards on the tables. Any wording suggestions would be great though!
