I would have paid for someone to come to my house in the morning of the wedding to make a lovely breakfast, then dress me and do my hair and make up.

What actually happened was I spent so much time making sure everyone around me was ok, I left only 10 minutes to get into my dress and put my make up on. I think I looked ok but it would have been great not to have been rushed.

AliLindsey, Unlimited, yes, but only for the wedding, so you can have all of your choices, but not the car resprayed unfortunately!

Ah ha! That's where you're wrong as I'm using it as my wedding car! Therefore I reckon it counts as part of my fantasy budget!

    LOL!

Have Matt Goss singing "isn't she lovely" whilst I'm walking down the aisle (not sure I could get that past OH!) .... copious amounts of champagne (although I'm sure no one is going to realise that they'll all be drinking cava at the wedding rather than the real stuff!).... and a 2 week honeymoon at the W resort in The Maldives....

Do it all again with only three differences:

    1. invite my cousins to the whole day instead of just the evening.

    2. Have Jeff Ascough be my photographer.

    3. Have a band and a REALLY good DJ and a really good sound & lighting crew (Fearless Audio & Rainbow Warrior Lighting) in the evening.

(R, my husband, has just said he'd have Kaos Design decorate the venue as well)

Have just been discussing this with h2b and we are already having everything we want, just trying to keep it to under £10,000.

We do think though that if we had an unlimited budget we would maybe hire a bigger venue and not be as strict with the guest list. And if it meant people having to travel further then we could just book a coach or a load of hotel rooms for everyone.

I would probably also have canapes and some sort of musical entertainment during arrival drinks. We probably wouldn't be debating whether we need chair covers or not. And we would probably have flower centrepieces.

I am going to have my dream wedding, something very simple and elegant and with it being New years eve we definitely want to have a firework display to top the night off!

There are loads fo things i want and H2B and i are working hard and saving harder to try and have everything we want. I want a "big band" to play for the first part of the night, have some good frank sinatra and other classic and then a good party to finish the night. We are still souring the venue, but it will be a castle of manour house! no cars will be needed, but if we needed cars he would have either a bently or a rolls royce phantom and i would have similar!

    how exciting!

We only have a small budget as it is but in all honesty I wouldn't change a thing of what we have planned so far.

Hmmm I think we have everything we want too and within our small budget!

But if we were going to push the boat out, we could have real Champagne for the toast, not sparkling rose, I would have the Strictly come dancing band, the dress designers and possibly some of the pro dancers for some lessons!

    Also fireworks!!?

I'd not let my guests pay for anything on the day, drinks, accomodation, transport etc but I'd try to keep it a secret from them so it was a surprise on the day.

Weddings can be expensive for guests too (although not as expensive as for the bride and groom) so I think it would be a really nice gesture. For the last few years I've had between 6-8 weddings each year and the costs really start to add up if you include hen/stag nights, outfits, accomodation etc. A few of my friend have also been made redundant recently and are struggling to make ends meet so I think it would make the day special for them too.

Oh - and go on an amazing honeymoon to the Maldives and then on safari in Africa ?

    Poosie x.

I'd fly everyone out for our wedding instead of just inviting small numbers,

I'd allow my H2B to have a Helicopter to depart from the ceremony, and take us to our Private Yaught for our reception (Seriously Guys, thats what he wanted!!)

I'd have an amazing honeymoon in the Maldives

Erm....and I'd give my guests a massive cheque as their wedding favour!

I would have had a mini pipe band (we had one piper & one drummer) I would've got 3 pipers and 2 drummers.

Paid for the Red Hot Chilli Pipers to play at our reception, hired someone to decorate the reception hall (the hall where the meal was held was decorated by the caterer, the reception hall was down to us to decorate and as it was a grade A listed building we were very limited as to how we could decorate it, so having the money to hire someone would've saved me a whole load of hassle and headaches!

I would've hired a horse & carriage to take me to the church then take H & me onto the reception venue erm I can't think of anything else as overall our day was perfect and I'd only add things that would save me hassle or made my childhood dreams a reality!

    Luv Victoria

    xx

Give up our jobs and have a honeymoon travelling the world for the rest of our lives!

(Does that count as wedding related?)

We have a small budget and honestly i wouldnt change any of the main details, the only thing i would want differently is to have the flowers that i want but due to the budget im having a a lower grade of rose and filled out with carnations ( i am not keen on carnations ).

I was really hoping to go on honeymoon to New York but that isnt happening now as we cant afford it but in the end im marrying the man i love so i can live with out a honeymoon.
