If you go down to the woods today.....

Went on a muddy, rainy and blustery walk to the wood sunday to get some pictures that we might use one our invites (rustic autumanal theme)

Will do a flash of mock up invite soon - so picture something similar to these cut into shape a label and attached to green ribbon.

what do you think?

    Thanks guys. The second one was carved out back in Feb, so we went back to the same wood and took a picture, so its aged a bit. The first one I carved yesterday, was worried I was going to get caught, dont know if your allowed to do that to trees?!

    The problem we are having is we wanted to be in the picture as well, but also need a very wide tree to carve it hense, writing sideways. SO think we are going to have to find a fallen tree. Look atthe picture below to see what I mean, just doesnt work.

    PS - Elizabeth, I forget to say on other thread, you know the one about 'all about us' - our how we got together with OH was spookily alike!

    Have been working on them this afternoon. we will have to redo them though as their not perfect. just tried to do pictures but cant do them at night as lighting is bad. watch this space.

    I love both the pics what a fab idea!!!!!! we went for a walk in the woods on Sunday with our 3 boys and the dog, i ended up getting smacked in the mouth by a tree swing and ended up with a split lip!!!! x
