He loved it and was amazed that I had gone for something so floaty! Everyone one else loved it too! Most people knew it was green but they had no idea what shade or style so they were really surprised. I had a few comments saying that I looked like a fairy princess and one of my neices and my friends daughter were in awe of me all night (It was really sweet but also meant that I had to dance with them a lot at the start of the disco! - they just kept standing in front of me and gazing up!)

I know its not what most people expect from a wedding but for us, the day was perfect. I even found out today that one of my older brothers said it was the best wedding he has been too (apart from his own) which is really sweet as we normally don't see eye to eye on a lot of things! We really our lucky to have such wonderful family and friends!

Wow, that's so lovely to see, specially if you don't normally see eye to eye. did your dad manaage to make it for part of the day (i have my fingers crossed tightly on that bit)

I love seeing a couple having a wedding that suits them as a couple and they dont feel they have to do things a certain way just because thats what people expect.

My dad was there for the full day and he walked me down the aisle so I was very happy! We both got very emotional when we first saw each other so there was lots of tears with me, him and my mum. He did go for a rest just after the meal but made it back in time for the first dance so I was happy with that and he managed to stay up right til the end of the night, although mum said that he was sick a bit when they got back to their room as he had probably drunk too much beer! He also managed to cut his elbow as his slipped on the stairs coming down from the bar, but apart from that all was good. I really should get ff here now and get packing!
