Is it just me or is anyone else mega broody leading up to the big day? Is it just me or is anyone else mega broody leading up to the big day? OH is absolutely obsessed by kids at the moment just like me and we did think about trying to have a baby before the wedding. twins run in his family so we were thinking about it but if we did end up with twins i reckon it would be really hard to lose the baby weight and i might not be able to get into my dress for the big day. i love my dress and wouldnt want to change it or incur even more expense in buying a new one..

am i the only one??! Smiley smile

My daughter was nearly four when we started trying, then he proposed, and soon after found we were expecting- so we just left wedding planning 'til the bab was here (well 'til after his 1st birthday in the end but hey). I'm glad we left it a bit because now he is not such a clingy baby, he's toddling around, amusing himself, and is a lot more co-operative with other people. I wouldn't like to be stuck doing most of the mummy stuff on my wedding day, when they're tiny if mummy's there sometimes only she will do (bit of winding mid-ceremony anyone?). Of course I'll be looking after them but it won't be constant, plenty of helpers! I know some people do it and manage fine, I think you need to be a bit stronger and happier to delegate than I was with him early on.

Wow, that's amazing for her to have been straight into air without any cpap or venting! You must have a strong little lass there! I work in a tier 2 unit so any under 30 weeks have to outlie to other hospitals that are more equipped for very prem... we just get them back when they've fattened them up a bit for us! ? It's really encouraging to hear of premmies that have done so well and that you all seem to have had good experiences of NNU/SCBU, i always feel so bad for the parents as its such a hard time for them and sometimes its hard to know what support to give for the best. Glad your daughter is well now ?

I'm mega broody have been since last May. We decided for me to get my implant out and start trying and booked the wedding for 2013 so we had plenty time. But it didn't happen, and in the end my parents asked us to bring the wedding forward to this year so my Granda would be able to attend (he's like my 2nd Dad). So I've got the coil in and baby making is on hold until after the wedding.

OH wants to wait until next year to try but I'm slowly wearing him down, I had a rather crappy 1st pregnancy when I was 18 the hospital thought my son had down syndrome, cystic fibrosis and spina bifida so had a tense time waiting for the results which all came back negative.

As I'm nearly 31 I want to have a baby sooner rather than later as I'm worried that the older I get the more chance of the above repeating itself.

I've got 2 boys aged 12 and nearly 8 I am desperate for a little girl. Everyone I know has a pink one so I've told the OH that he better deliver or I'll castrate him myself ?

Yes sjhe is amazing! Waters went at 26 weeks tho so I was given steroid injections to prepare her and she burst into the world (through the sunroof exit) a week later crying as she popped out!

My second made it to 36 weeks, whoopp!

Wouldnt want to tempt fate by trying to have more!

    xxx
