I'm the worst bride/planner ever and its only 4 months away!!

I am freaking out too, have loads to do, we get married on 18th august, when do you? I have so much left to do its unreal!! i still need to,

• book hair trial
• sort out sound for our outside blessing
• OH write speech
• write our vows
• sort out daughters reading
• do playlist/suggestiongs for dj
• figure out how cake will be transported, nans friend making it.
• get info on a photobooth
• make the candles for my centre pieces
• paint glass jars
• choose my tiara
• put ceremnoy music onto cds
• choose cake topper
• get sweet/candy bar sorted out, ie choose sweets
• get gifts
• get ring cushion
• buy my shoes
• sort out table plan
• get ribbons for cars
• look into hiring glassware from waitrose
• get my undies and shapewear
• order buttonholes
• finish getting pageboys outfits
• get all the converse

I get married 15th September. Not decided day guests yet, got or sent invites or bought any jewellery for bridesmaids or myself. I don't think that's unusual though in *the real world*, on Hitched the ladies are very excited and often forward plan years. That's not to say that's the norm. I wouldn't worry, you've plenty of time!

So true! I kept having major panics because most of the brides on here have practically everything sorted more than a year in advance and we only had 11 months to plan ours. Despite not booking anything years in advance I have not had any trouble getting my first choice of suppliers. So don't panic, it sounds like you only have the leftover bits to do and you have 4 months still. I still have lots to do, but it is getting done slowly when I have the chance, so I know it will all be done in time.

You still have plenty of time, honestly.

I still dont feel behind though. Looking at my plan I wont need to do much else until June!

I'm getting married 24th august, ive been very laid back about the whole thing until last week when i realised were running low on funds and i have 4 paydays left to try and get little bits and bobs. I'm a bit worried its going to look bland as well cause im not very good when it comes to the table decorations and things like that. A girl i know is gettin married in July and shes completly on the ball, she isnt paying for a thing tho where as were getting no help so i think thats stressful enough.

I just wanna wake up and get married im bored of planing it, at the end of it all its how many months planning for 1 day and ill have grown a head full of grey hair haha

I get married 26th July and I still have nearly all the things mentioned still to do!! Hee hee, I have a dress and a groom (what else is really important??!!)

Am now of course starting to panic...I feel a to do list coming on!!!!

I think there is way too much time spent planning if i had 6 months to plan it i wouldnt have changed my mind 8 times about table decorations... at the end of the day who is even going to be looking at them? really?

It's not just you. Saturday will be 3 months till our big day, and I still have a rather large to do list. We end up doing/organising extra things that we hadn't originally wanted/put on to do list, so it doesn't seem to get smaller, but will get there in the end.

Ive got just over a week and still have a list as long as me arm!!

It will all come together im sure.....

In the early days my girly friends and hitched helped me with great ideas and work out what i wanted from my day.....Good luck

I'm probably a contender for worst bride. Most of the ladies on here are super organised and put me to shame! I too feel like the list just keeps getting longer and longer. I've got a week off work in May though and am hoping that I'll pretty much be able to plough through a lot of it then. If I can't then I'll be in big trouble!
