In Bluewater's absence - It's the weekly weekend good/bad thread!!

HA! you beat me to it, I was just about to write this tread too....

Ok here goes;

Good; the sun is shining

Bad; I have a driving lesson in 30 mins

Good: I'm going to do more packing stuff

Bad; I've got to do more cleaning up afterwards

Good; We are staying at friends tomorrow evening

Bad: I cant get drunk coz I will have to drive on sunday

Good- The weather is lovely

Bad- I'm desperately skint

Good- H is taking me out tomorrow for a pub lunch

Bad- The house needs cleaning and i have no motivation to do it

Bad- I need to go on a diet after over indulging on honeymoon

Don't know if this will work as it's first time trying to post from my iPhone, but here goes. Good: going to my best friend's wedding tomorow Bad: the shoes I'll be wearing are instruments of torture Good: have booked the whole weekend and all of next week off work!! Good: having front room decorated this week Bad: no money til pay day

Good - going to see the wedding pics tonight ?

Good - John Lewis are delivering our gift list tomorrow ?

Good - Going to the Community Shield on Sunday at Wembley

Bad - the house is in DIRE need of steam cleaning and its not going to do itself... ?

Sorry that I have been a bad Hitcher, as I haven't been about for a while.

I can't believe how quickly this week has gone by!

Good: Looking forwards to meeting Emma tomorrow for our photoshoot.

Bad: I'll have to wake up at about 6:00am to get my hair and make-up done in time.

Good: I'm going to have as much fun as possible to stop myself from worrying about how I'll look, in the photos!

Bad: I'm stressing that it will rain.

Good: I have been so good with my healthy eating this week, so Rob has promised me fish & chips tomorrow on the sea front.

Bad: Having a haircut today and I hate having it done. (Should I have a fringe?!)

Good: OH is coming home tonight after spending this week in London (bloody train strikes!). He was originally going to stay up tonight and come home tomorrow but he's coming home tonight instead now - woo!

Good: Tomorrow is our year to go mark!

Good: We're going ring shopping tomorrow to mark the occassion!

Good:Then we're having a nice meal out together

Ok-ish: Wedding to go to on Sunday. I don't really know many people there which is why it's downgraded from good!

Good: I have Monday off work to book the registrar!

So all good for me this weekend!

I'm having my hair cut this weekend too but I LOVE having it cut! I find it rather relaxing hehe. I say go for a fringe, I think they can make the overall look so much softer and romantic. Well done with your healthy eating! I've been really bad this last week or so.

As for me:

Good: Seeing florist tonight to have a look at the mock ups

Good: having a takeaway or a meal out after

Good: going shopping tomorrow to try to find OH a wedding ring

Good: hair cut and colour tomorrow evening

Good: probably taking mum out Sunday to find a fascinator for her wedding outfit

Bad: OH is going to a funeral Monday and might be travelling down Sunday night.

We went to Cornwall, and we're going to Florence in November, we're just greedy ?

Unfortunately Cornwall did nothing for my waistline, it was all pasties, fish and chips and ice creams! ?

Good: I'm getting married!!!! ? ?

Good(maybe): The sun looks like it might come out and play nice tomorrow

Good: I had a lovely message from Bluewater even though she's on honeymoon! ?

Oh and hHow could I forget...! Its my HUSBAND's birthday on Monday so taking the day off to spend together... ?

Good: off for dinner tonight with OH

Bad: the above does nothing for my waistline nor the fish and chips I may have tomorrow!

Bad/Good: OH is off on his stag do - cue me worrying about him... but means I can have an indulgent tea and am hoping to watch Bride Wars without distraction or moaning!

Good: It's my hen weekend tomorrow! It's a surprise and I don't find out until tomorrow what we're doing!

Bad: My MIL2B is being the ultimate b**** - she didn't feel the need to inform us SIL2B isn't coming to any of the wedding when she decided days ago. She's told her son that if his sister asks her not to go to the wedding and stay with her, his mum will do it ?

Good: It's friday, the clinic isn't too busy

Bad: My first drive on the motorway tomorrow, bit scared!

Good: 3 weeks to the wedding!

GOOD - dress fitting and hair trial on Sat

GOOD - staff bbq tonight - MUST not drink too much because of above hair and dress appointments in morning !!!

BAD- H2b away on stag do from Sun - I will miss him

GOOD - planning a wedding jobs day on Sun due to above !!

GOOD- off to collect H2b's ring this afternoon ( ive secretly had it engraved !!)

GOOD - romantic night in with H2b on Sat before he leaves for stag do sun am !

Good: Lost another 2lbs this week, making it 60lbs in total

Good: Got my dress!!!! YIPPEE!!!

Good: Off out to lunch with my mate in a bit.

Bad: OH has flu and is on a treatment of tamiflu!

GOOD - It's Friday

GOOD - It's 1 yr till my wedding ?

GOOD - It's going to (hopefully) be a sunny weekend............yay for ASh!

GOOD - I have all of next week off work

GOOD - We have friends over for BBQ on Sunday

1/2 GOOD 1/2 BAD - It's OH's work's fun day tomorrow and although its good and everything is free, he always has to work it.

GOOD - We are having Pizza Express Takeaway for tea tomorrow night!

Good: Mum's gone on holiday so H and I have the house to ourselves for the first time since we moved in.

Good: Meeting MrsLord (and Mr Lord!) for drinks tomorrow night.

Bad: Tomorrow would have been my wedding day if we hadn't brought the wedding forward when Dad got ill and I'm feeling down about it (as anyone who read my thread yesterday knows - thanks for all the replies in that btw)

Bad: I can't seem to stop myself eating bad things, even though I'm trying to lose weight.

Bad: It seems like everyone in the world owes me money at the moment and I really need it back!

Good: of out with the girls tonight for a drink not an official hen night but a nice drinky poo's

Bad: can't get drunk

Good: Hair Coloured, cut at 9am and then final hair trial (reason for not getting drunk)

Good: Seeing florist tomorrow for final meeting

Good: Sister and mum taking me for a meal and to see Harry Potter tomorrow night.

Bad: house in desperate need of cleaning

Good: we get married 2 weeks tomorrow

Bad: just checked 14 day weather forecast currently rain ☹️

Bad: getting stupid letters of my dad's family

Bad: totally skint

Good- going to a jewellers shop to see exhibition of wedding rings tomorrow ?

Bad- OH is not coming to said event as he wants needs to watch the cricket AND Leeds Utd start the footy season tomorrow?

Good- Still have 3 1/2 weeks off school!! ?

Bad- have just come on and feel bloated as well as hungover ?

Good: "working" from home today - still in my pjs ?

Good: going for dinner & drinks at our friend's house tonight

Good: hair & makeup trial on Sunday

Good/bad: absolutely no plans at all tomorrow - very confusing as we've been so busy lately so I don't know if it's good or not!

Bad: H2B not been feeling well all week

Bad: diet not going to plan. I think it might be time to just accept this as my happy weight as I just can't seem to shift that last half stone

How the hell do you manage to post from your iPhone? Mine lets me log in ok, but then chucks me out and says I have to register. Then if I can get on, I can't post! How do you do it? Step by step would be good!

Sorry for the hijack. Errr - good/bad. Working tomorrow, but on something more interesting than usual. And Sunday the parents are coming over.

As you were.

Good: Going on my second 'date' with h2b tomorrow since having our princess. big slap up meal and lots of g&t's.

Good: Going swimming Sunday am and then to my boss's for a bbq.

Bad: My decorator has let us down and won't be able to come til next w-end.

Bad: I really could do with an hours kip but daughter running round like a child on ecstasy and got loads of housework to do.

Good - I've got to a point where I can relax abit about CLD for a day or two and maybe, just maybe, not work the entire weekend!

Good - I'm picking up my new mountain bike tonight (Mr SP got his on Weds)

Bad - the weekend means another week has passed that I don't have a proper job : (

Bad - house is a tip as in limbo due to trying to get ready for major decorating which kicks off on 18th Aug - so I've started packing stuff away and need to try to get as much prep done as poss in next week - shelves off walls, pictures off wall etc

Bad - house being a tip is testing my cleaning OCD to the limit!

Good - weather looks to be pretty good this weekend which means the view from my house will make me feel happy and shiny as the sparkly sea does that to me! So even if I decide working is required, I'll have a nice view from my desk.

Mrs sp, could you take a photo of that view?? sounds like heaven

good; been working from home for past two days due to rail strike which is due to continue for the next two thurs/fri

bad; my hen night organiser friend is annoying me by 'forgetting' to invite 15 people who i asked her too months ago, and its turning into a 'her' night out which i thought it would anyway but benefit of the doubt.

Good - Its my favourite night of the week!

Bad - I would usually be drinking wine by now but I'm only allowed 14 Weight Watcher points today due to Indian meal last night and I'm starving!

Good - I am sticking to my points which will hopefully mean a weight loss on Tuesday.

*Hmm mine seems to be all about food! No wonder I'm overweight!

bad: after being really good all week, just had a pig-out friday pizza.....

Good: no plans for the weekend so hitching and planning sessions can be resumed

Bad: housework, Grrrr!

Good: its the weekend, I try and not drink during the week so vino on a friday tastes even better

Bad: I am oncall for work so can only have 1 as I need to be compesmentus (sp!?)

Good: we have the for sale sign for the house

Bad: we need to wait for the epc doo-da to come through before we can put it up

Good: The house is still tidy from the estate agent coming round so no need for cleaning to be done!

Bad: H is doing a dragon boat race with work tomorrow morning and he wants me to go and watch (I am not mean but it's at 8am!)
