in need of sympathy... I cant walk- looks like no heels for the wedding

julia (modernphotographic), 22 May, 2010 at 10:25 Posted on Planning 0 4

I had an accident whilst away in Cannes (no i wasnt drinking or wearing heels) but I feel down concrete stairs when I wasnt concentrating,

and trying to avoid a big group of french kids. That was a week ago and Im on crutches still, went to our local doctor and he confirmed I've damaged a ligament.

He's said I'll be on crutches for up to two more weeks maybe three and then i will still be hobbling for up to 12 weeks!!! Except its less than 6 weeks until the wedding.

At the moment I am unlikely to be able to wear the beautiful gold shoes I've bought. Bit gutted but Hubby to be said it doesnt matter, Im tall (although hes really tall)

and Im wearing a long dress! At least I have him, hoping this is my bad luck over now

    Oh, sorry to hear that.

In normal day life not being able to wear heels isn't a big deal, but I can imagine with wedding day coming up it is very frustrating! Sure you will look beautiful still ?
