Insipration needed for August Honeymoon

debs1701, 13 March, 2009 at 19:07 Posted on Planning 0 6

I have thought about this off and on and would love to go to the Indian Ocean somewhere or Carribean but I know that some of these places have monsoon seasons so obviously want to steer clear from them but where would be a great place like that to go?

We haven't had a proper holiday in years so maybe thinking about taking 3 weeks off work and making the most of it, especially since it will be a long wait for any sort of good break next year from work.

Any ideas will be greatly appreciated ?

    Hi Debbydoo,

We are getting married this August too and going on safari in Kenya for our honeymoon. Half the honeymoon will be safari and half will be a beach holiday in Zanzibar (so a little more relaxing!)

A couple of the brides I've photographing later this year are doing the same thing for their honeymoon so it seems to be becoming quite a popular option.

If you are interested in this I would recommend speaking to Trail Finders - they have been excellent with us so far ?

We are august and going to thailand (bangkok and ko samui). it can be a little bit rainy there (mainly in bangkok and in the north of thailand) at that time, but the islands towards the south are supposed to be better.

would also echo trail finders recommendation - they were mega helpful with me and didn't get fed up with me chopping and changing my mind!

    Hi

We are going to the Maldives in August. We are actually going to Dubai for 5 days first on the way. We will be away for 16 days.

As I'm sure you know there are loads of different islands to choose from and they vary in size and amenities. You could try looking at tripadvisor for recommendations!
